This was one of my favorite sessions of the Forum. The speakers and their slides were excellent; their organization of the material was so well done I was able to stay with them on the ideas as they developed. Would love to see more of what these speakers are doing to push the boundaries of Epic to solve organizational issues.
Definitely a classic. Lots of great insight, great presenters. Thanks!
no bias, data shows it is worth the effort
Interesting talk: the example is not broadly applicable, but the topic (asynchronous alerts) is of huge interest to many.
What changes will you apply . . .
. . . Consider the use of asynchronous alerts in areas other than billing, as we do have charge router implemented.
. . . will try reminders for billing
. . . Asynchronous alerts allow me to do less intrusive alerts.
. . . Use asynchronous alerts
. . . We will be looking at ways we could use the Alert TRAIN to solve some of our hospital charge capture issues. The logic alone helped us better understand data that may be available to help us with charging issues.
. . . will build additional asynchronous alerts
. . . I will bring this back to our physician builders
