Excellent balance of build specifics and general information
Outstanding, total Classic! (7:30AM time was good if the quality of the talk is as good as this was!)
I always find Dr.Bar-Shain's lectures engaging, useful, and educational.
Good session, but very technical, details of coding the "wrap" are beyond my scope, but the concept is great!!
Very techy talk that works just fine. Very knowledgeable speaker.
What changes will you apply . . .
. . . Try to build better Peds Immunization packaging and SmartSet using the tools described herein.
. . . Better understanding of rules based immunization reports.
. . . I am starting to do HM build. This session helped me understand better.
According to Epic Systems Corporation data, the Epic Clinical Programs derived from this work, "Increasing Up-to-Date Pediatric Immunizations," and, "Increasing Up-to-Date Pediatric and Adult Immunizations," have been downloaded by 875 unique users in Epic’s customer base. Compared to other Pediatric Clinical Programs, they are ranked in the top 40% for views and downloads. Compared to the entire library of more than 75 Clinical Programs, they are ranked 21st for views and downloads.
We have a SmartSet build for well child checks I'm very proud of, based on Dr. David Bar-Shain's work, that provides a SmartGroup (with nested SmartGroups so we can apply LGL-based logic that refers back to our Health Maintenance topics) which suggests only the vaccines that are due. That way, users don't have to wade through a bunch of checkmarks of potential vaccines and remember which they're supposed to give.
