FROM POST GO-LIVE E-MAILS:
Recently, Dr. Bar-Shain developed a piece of custom code for the Epic Electronic Health Record (EHR) system which enables the system to present clinicians with the specific immunization product to order during a clinical encounter. As an Epic physician programmer myself this was the final piece that allowed me to complete a multi-step project. His work in this specific situation will have a positive impact on on-time and accurate ordering of immunizations in health systems across the country.

This is a great use of your Talmudic learning. The levels and the layers. And a great Chanukah present. Thanks.

Inspired me to do skunkworks hacking
This was a great session. It put the expert into XGM. Coders need a place on the UserWeb where they can discuss issues. Can we get one?
Star studded lineup. There should be more presentations like this.
All of the presenters were amiable, knowledgeable, and interesting in their style of presentation.
It's time for Epic to offer a "Physician Builder-Chronicles Programmer" class. Many of these approaches should begin to be taught using a more structured approach.
Should be made a classic. Very valuable to any physician builder.
Inspiring; will require a lot of learning
Empowering session! Loved all the ideas, and how each presenter built upon the last.
What changes will you apply . . .
. . . I'll be more assertive in attempting to do semi-independent work.
. . . work with programmers to modify existing tools/elements to make changes versus starting from scratch
. . . I will seek to continue my journey as a physician builder, but never a programmer.
. . . Will continue to work to improve as a physician builder to this level of proficiency
. . . Awareness of customizations ... communicate with epic staff better
. . . Need to learn more
. . . I have more tools and knowledge now on how to dive in and get information needed to make tools.
. . . Get familiar with M
. . . develop stronger builder program
